ABFM FIFTH SEASON OPENING!
This Sunday, June 16, 10am–1pm
Now a Producer-Only Market!

Join us on Pearl Street for the opening market day of the season — our 5th! ABFM launches Season Five with an exciting announcement: we are now a producer-only market! What does that mean? It means a shift from our former policy (of allowing vendors to sell a small number of items from other known and vetted farms or producers) to a producer-only policy, which means that vendors may sell only the produce and/or value-added products that they themselves grow or make. The ABFM Leadership Board has made this change to eliminate confusion, provide market-goers with clear information about food sourcing, and continue to promote integrity in all market standards. Be an early bird: show up a few minutes before opening to hear Senator Jamie Eldridge hail the beginning of our fifth-birthday season!

Thank You to Our Gracious Neighbors
It may not be obvious when you're on Pearl Street, but the ABFM has several neighbors who abut the market. They graciously accommodate the pedestrian and car traffic of the market, the noise, the dogs, and the general hubbub only a few feet away from their homes — and still support the ABFM! We extend our appreciation to them, and ask you to respect that their driveways, lawns, and walkways are private property; please don't traverse them, and please keep your pets off of them. Thank you!

A Little Help from Our Friends
We are in need of volunteers who can help us set up and take down the market this season. It's a quick and fun way to help the market thrive. Please contact Helen, our Volunteer Coordinator, to sign up: volunteers@ABFarmersMarket.org. Thank you for being a part of the ABFM community.
