ABFM SPECIAL EVENT
VEGGIES RULE!

Creating Easy & Delicious Winter Fare

A Cooking Demo & Workshop

We all know we should eat more veggies. But we don't always know how to use "enough" of them for yummy, everyday meals.

Join ABFM staff to learn how to make two veggie-dense dishes perfect for the chilly season. SNAP users are especially invited and all are welcome. The demo/workshop will take place at a registered kitchen in West Acton; location details provided on registration.

After learning how to prepare these dishes, participants will enjoy samples, and leave the event with a goodie bag of recipes, SNAP information, ABFM info, a locally made, all-natural ingredient, and a small ABFM Gift Certificate for use at market.

There is no charge for this demo/workshop; modest donations are always gratefully accepted. Space is limited, so please reserve yours no later than January 20 by contacting Debra at:

Communications@ABFarmersMarket.org or 978.635.0455

SNAP benefits can be used at ABFM (see below). The 2012 ABFM season starts on Sunday, June 17!

This project is funded, in part, through the Northwest Suburban Health Alliance/CHNA 15 DoN funds from Lahey Clinic.

Come on down — for Real Food from Real People!

The ABFM Operates on People Power

The ABFM exists because of our terrific vendors; the support of local businesses, organizations, and individual contributors; the help of the Town of Acton and Town staff; and the hard work of volunteers. We need your time and expertise to make this effort not only about buying good food and supporting local enterprises, but also about community vitality and shared learning.

Want to help? Hurray! Learn about becoming a business/organizational Supporter here; volunteer here; offer ideas or suggestions here; or just send a plain old donation to us at:

ABFM, 155 Prospect Street, Acton, MA 01720
